In 1966, Gil Gubbels started a heating and air conditioning company and immediately became known for his willingness to share what he knew with homeowners so they’d face fewer problems with their home’s equipment. Gil eagerly shared that knowledge with Russell Schrader when he hired the younger man 22 years later.
